Curling Software - How to send a message

After you login to your account, you click "Messages" at the top and then click "Create a New Message" in the left hand navigation:

Depending on your rights, you will have access to various templates and groups. You can either send a message to one person, or select more than one or select a group. The icons to the right of the To, CC and BCC fields allow you to choose your recipients.

Check the group you wish to use and then hit the "Select" button.

Now you are ready to draft your message or select an existing template.

Message Type:

Message = will post a message to the curler's web account and they will see it the next time that they login. Administrators can verify whether or not the message has been read and at what time.

Email = the system will send an email to the curler's email address on file. If curlers keep their email account address up-to-date, this will be an extremely useful spamming tool.

Message & Email = curlers will receive the exact same message in their curling web account as their email account.

Message & Email Notification = curlers will receive a standard system message by email advising them that they have a new message in their web account.

Please leave the "Stats" and "Reply" radio button as is for now.
